Default o2 sensor for tunning a 2 stroke? cant it be done

i was wondering if a wideband o2 sensor can be used for short periods of time for tunning a 2 stroke motor. would it read ok or would the oil foul it out. would the air fuel readings be the same as a 4 stroke? i have a lm-1 kit and thought i might be able to but on my mach z for tunning purposse
