I found a 2003 Rincon for $4995 with 160 miles on it. I don't know much about them and would have to buy it over the phone and have it shipped to me. So, is this a good price and is there anything to look out for in the 2003 models??? Thanks so much.

yes . the 03 -04 rincon had a bad water pump. so i would make sure they didn't have problems with that first.

No engine braking below 8 mph. Makes it useless for descending technical terrain. If all you want is a comfy flatland cruiser, then maybe???

I believe the Rincon was disigned for fast trail riding. I don't think Honda intended it for mudding or hard work, or going under 8 mph. I think they are a gfreat ATV is it is used for what it was intended for, like all other ATVs.

I think with the right mods it would be a decent mudder, you dont need slow speed engine braking for that. If your into the technical riding stuff then you want something else with engine braking for sure. Again like said before it makes for a great trail machine, best ride on the market, nice transmission and lots of power.
