While cleaning my chain, I notice that all 4 studs holding the rear sproket to the shaft are lose, NOT the nut that's secure, but the stud. I can spin them all with my fingers? Is this normal?

 

If the nuts and bolts are torque to spec they should not turn. You need to cheek the sprocket and sprocket hub to see if the mounting holes are out of spec.

 

I know that the bolts on mine sometimes come loose. I check them quite often and keep em tight.

 

Man this makes me SO mad, I take it to the Polaris Dealer here in Toronto for a complete tune-up. They miss the bolts on the sproket, the chain was extremly loose and they didn't adjust. This make me wonder what the hell did they do!!! To top it all off they charged me 4 hours labour for the horible service.
