Default Dynojet Power Commander

Hello,
I have a 05 800 and was looking to do some simple upgrades to get a little more out of the 4 wheeler. I have a K&N air filter on order and should have it this weekend and I saw others mention the power commander before. Just what and how much of a gain will I get from using the power commander? What exactly does it do? Does anyone have any other minor things I can do to gain some throttle response or power? I have been reading the forum for awhile now and find it quite informing. The help is appreciated.

Thanks

Rob, when you say small things there isn't much more fro that quad it ripsin stock form there wil be ex., cams, head work, and cluthcing for those set-ups soon but with just ehr k&n there should be no need for any fuel adjustments.
