I am in the market for a utility quad to replace my wifes DS and am very interested in the outlander 800 but am undecided due to its high price tag and limited availability. My question is what would be the next best choice besides the 800? Prarie, BF, or the outlander 400? Is the 400 underpowered? Thanks.

 

If you can wait a bit the rumore mill has it that a Outlander 600 or 650 is right around the corner.
