hey im sorry to bother yall but does any1 have a cb radio on there 4-wheeler cuz i do and it works great
and it was easy to hook up.

 

that'd be intresting, i could put one on my old quad but if i was riding w/buddy's i'd be tempted to stop and play around w/it[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

but the closest thing i have to a CB radio is a cell phone[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

Cell phone here/ never leave home w/o it!

 

i was thinking of that to. ive put a mobile in all of my cars and i have a base in the house. and i was thinking of brining a mobile with me and ride to the top of a mountain and shoot the **** up there.

 

When out riding, we use the Motorola FRS. Iif we need to, we have a cell phone as a back up. That is, if you can get a signal. Been known to get a signal out of Reno[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] while standing in the California Sierras.

 

Yea it works awesome and i can talk and ride since i have a bruin

 

yea, i just ordered a new imax 2000 24ft 5/8 wave antenna and a galaxy saturn base station (960 channel) for 200 bucks. the radio is already tuned and with the antenna 40 ft in the air i can reach from my house in mass to anywere in the usa and once a guy in argentina with a 96 ft antenna and once a guy in alaska. the radio is awsome.

 

We just use the Motorolas. They work good for short distances.
