CLUTCH and timing question

Default CLUTCH and timing question

hi i was wondering if i needed to advance the timing on my bike if i have a big gun rev limiter put on it it says it adds 3hp from just putting it on i have a 1988 250x thats has alot of work done to it please help!!!!!!!!!!

if so i need to know how much to advance it!

how much would a clutch help me i think my stock one iz going out!!

the clutch kit comes with everything its a barrnett clutch kit please help!!

the only thing it doesnt come with is the clutch basket but i really dont care

please help!!!

Default CLUTCH and timing question

I do not believe you have to advance the timing if the quad runs good after the mod. Put the rev limited on and see how it runs, if it runs good leave it alone. Do some research on the aftermarket clutch kit that you are intrested in.

its a barrnet clutch kit it comes with everything and heavy huty springs i bought it today on ebay (brand new) just so ya know
