Default 1995 Explorer400 HELP

My dad has a 1995 polaris explorer400 that has some issues. We currently use it for farm work. I was riding it yesterday and it ran fine untill I stopped and had to use 4wheeldrive After i got out of the muddy terrace i put it back into 2 wheel drive and i gave it some gas but it acted like it had no power... It ran completly fine b/f i used the 4x4. I have always had trouble with the gear selector, It seems like it never stays adjusted right and i was wanting to know how to keep it in adjustment. Also every single light bulb on the thing has burnt out all at once. I havnt replaced the bulbs yet but i was wanting to know what could have caused the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Default 1995 Explorer400 HELP

1. depending on how deep you were stuck, water could of got into the clutch cover causing the belt to slip, or the air filter could be clogged causeing a loss of power.
2. There could be a short or a ground wire hitting somthing causing the whole thing to short out.
3. maybe your tranny is loose and every time you adjust it the tranny moves and gets out of adjustment.
