Suspension question

Default Suspension question

Does anyone one know that if I tighten up the suspension on my Warrior will it work better for bigger jumps?Because right now I go off a medium-sized jump and it almost/sometimes bottoms out.I wieght 145 lbs.

Yeah it should help you from bottoming out,i just went to the track today on my kfx and i have my suspension tightened about half way and it soaked up the smaller stuff really well,but over some of the bigger jumps i still bottomed out a few times.

I dont think I have the right tool.What tool can I use to rotate the Cam?

Yeah you have to have some special wrench from the dealership,but i did mine with a small metal like rod and a hammer and just kept knocking it around tighter.I've heard you can use channel locks also.

yeh I just used 2 channel locks.But I think I need better suspension or maybe just go off jumps with a landing because the springs are as tight as they can be and will bottom out after going off a medium-sized jump.I think its just that the springs are so old that they just got soft.My warrior is a 1999.

i have rly soft suspenstion on my 300ex and i never buttom mine when jumping it

how much do u weigh?? i dont bottom out on my warrior and im 145..

i weigh 145 lbs also.I think just my suspension is soft.Soft meaning its old.

Default Suspension question

You need to use a "spanner" wrench so that you don't tear up and scuff your shock adjustment cam.

You can get them cheap at Harbor Freight or Northern Tool.
