Default Works vs. Elka

I'm wanting to start a suspension upgrade on my sons Eton 90 and would like some feedback from users. I've been looking at Works and Elka single rate no reservoir shocks. I'm not going for a mx or hare scramble setup right now because there isn't much of that available for mini quads in my area. It would be used about 90% flatrack and about 10% on light trail riding. Keep in mind my son is just turning 7 and only weighs about 50 pounds.

Am I right in thinking that if I get shocks now and use them with the stock a-arm and swing arm I will be able to use the same shocks later with aftermarket parts?(with adjustments of course)

Where can I find just the reservoir by itself to add on later?

We run Elka's and ride MX. Haven't had Works myself but comparing to people that do will stay with Elka. I believe Elka is more upgradeable later, call them they are very helpful and get you what you need. On the other hand either is a far better then any stock setup.

I very well could be wrong but I believe you would have to send them back in to have the rezzies added as they don't come with the connection on them stock unless you ask specifically. And I agree with qwadfather on the "works used to be reasonably priced". Now they are almost as much as elka's and imo aren't near the quality.
