What would be the best mx bike for me I am 16 5'10ish I have rode lots of 125s and 250fs but would a 250 2 stroke be too much? Also what brand is the best? I've always liked yamahas. How much more power is a yz250 then a slightly modded banshee ( pipes, k n airfilter, v force reeds)

If you want a 250 thats what I would get, they are a lot easier to ride then 125s because you dont have to rev the **** out of them to get any power. I think you would be able to handle a 250 fine Im only 14 and I went straight from an XR250 to a CR250 with no problems. A 250f would be nice to but they cost more, whatever you do I would stay away from a 125 especilly since you already have a banshee that 125 would feel slow.

Stick with the 2-stroke.

A YZ250 would make a good match with you. That thing is still going to cream the banshee anywhere where ti could get good traction. Those things are mighty fast! So hold on! And remember a 250 2-stroke will keep up with a 450 dirtbike!
