I am wondering how often people are changing the oil and filter on there bruin motors ( or any four stroke) for that matter. Thanks.

 

i do it every few rides/trips.

 

I change the oil on my KTM about every 10-15 hrs of use. It depends on how hard I ride it. If I race I change it after racing. Approx 90 milles and 4-5 hrs riding time. The rest of my small thumpers are 1-2 times a year depending on riding time. And my XL 600 gets a oil change every 2K miles. The KTM uses amsoil 10-40 synthetic and the others use 10-30 valvoline. i should change it more but im lazy and i cant ride that much because i live in the city

 

Aww man don't be lazy, that's a racing quad, they need good care. The quad cost you money and I wouldn't want it in the shop jsut becauseI was to lazy to change the oil.

 

Every 10 hours will help reduce the adjustment frequency on those valves also.
