how many generations have there been what were major changes im basically just looking for any good info about sportsmans...thanks in advance..

 

i think theres been 7 generations, i dont belive there were many changes till 04, other than line updates, then 04.5 then 05

 

The sportsmans start at gen4 and gen4+ (sp600/700 in 2002-2003) then gen6.
The body style and plastics are the main changes.

whats the difference between say a 95 sportsman 400 and a 98 explorer they both have the 400 2-stroke and a straight axel both have 4wd so whats the diff??
im thinking about buying a project quad and was wondering which is better???
