I have seen reference before to some of you guys being able to download Polaris ATV service type information.

Problem is, the starter all of the sudden doesn't work anymore. We think its probably just worn brushes, but failed in the attempt to pull the starter off. Anyone got any suggestions? Or point me in the right direction to download a blow up or assembly view or something?

Any info is appreciated. We don't feel like spending 50 bucks on a manual, much less take it to the dealer if its something simple. You know how it is.

Go back to the main page and look under tech tips. In the big gray column there's a thing about polaris starter care. Maybe this'll help. Good luck!!

Thanks, I finally found what I was looking for under trail tips. Why the downloadable service manual is under trail tips, I'll never know. But hey, at least I got it now!

Polaris does not have service manuals on their website, they have the parts manuals that give the breakdown of the parts. Very helpful for seeing how things are assembled and for ordering the correct part. Go to www.polarisindustries.com and click on atv's, then click on trail tips. You should then see a link for Parts Manuals. Hope this helps.
