Default Need help from Polaris guys!

I have never worked on Polaris ATV's before. My buddy has a Polaris (can't remember name) 4x4. I am going to work on it for him. on the right side of quad there is a small sprocket and chain that is obviously out of place. The chain and sprocket are binded up under the head pipe. This controls his 4x4 from what I understand. Haven't really got a chance to look at it yet but i'm assuming there is just a large nut that holds the sprocket on the shaft behind the cover and that is it. Thinking the nut came off and sprocket came off shaft and lodged up under headpipe. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thx.

Can't remember what model Polaris it is. I was suprised to see it was chain driven though not belt driven. I want to say it was a Quad Boss. Can't remember. Sure appreciate any comments.

you can look at 'partsland.com' for exploded views when you find out the year and model. Good luck
