Today I was going over my Quad and the brass- looking bushing was gone. Do they bust off or what? Has anyone ever had this problem? If so, how hard are they to replace?

Never broke one. I guess they do sometimes. They are very simple to replace. Block up the frame, remove the 2 bolts where the A-arm hinges, swing the A-arm out enough to pop out the new bushings, slip the new ones in, & tighten it all up. On a 4-wd machine, be CAREFUL so as not to let the CV joint seperate. Also might be a good idea to put in new bolts, too. Whatever broke the bushing may have put a hairline crack in them. Shouldn't take over 15 minutes or so.

Those fitting are known to break. I believe Polaris is using something different now. Check to make sure you have no bends on the arm. This can cause binding on the bush, and cause it to fail. But I doubt you have a bent arm. Like I said, these bushings are not known to be strong.
