I have an 03 ds650 and i am looking into the Mr.HP end cap for it and was wondering what the decible level is and what kind of HP it pumps out. Is it really worth $125.00 for how much power it pumps out? I was thinking about putting the end cap on with with a k/n filter w/outer wear and jetting the carb for the end cap and was wondering if anyone has done this or knows anyone that has done this to their ds. So if you have a Mr.Hp end cap please write back, it will be very appreciated. Thanks

 

hey bomb, well ive got one on my o1, it brought it to life , plus it gives it some balley sound, this makes it 125.00 better than the rest. you wont be disappointed. whoooooya carry on

 

I think its totally worth it, made a big difference. As far a DB's its loud at least 105

 

The end cap is great, but it certainly does bark like the big dogs. 105db is probably a good guess.

 

Its well worth the money. great power increase. and my neighbors said it really sounded good flying down the road at 11;30 at night

 

End caps are very torquey. Great for drags. You must though live where you are not required to use a spark arrestor and have no noise restrictions.
There are new exhaust silencers that are very close to torque and more top end.

See i live in a small development in Pennsylvania and im just looking for an end cap for my ds cuz my dad thinks a lip on or a full pipe will give my quad to much power so if i just get an end cap for it he wont think anything of it. The problem is i dont want it to be obnoxiusly loud and not sound good. I want something to sound good but its not loud like maybe 96 decibels. Do you know of any companys that make a sparkarested end cap or could you buy a spark arestor for Mr.HP end cap?>
