You know the brass screw on the right side of your carb, when ur sitting on the quad. Thats the idle screw, crank it up a little bit, it should help it stay running.

MIke.

i know about the idle screw, it idles quite high though.not really high but it seems normal.it just idles and then it cuts out.And some times when i pin it there is a little hesitation.that is sometimes, not all the time.

I just fixed mine a few mins ago, it was bogging really bad when I gave it a lot of gas. I just took the carbs off and crank the mixture screw up a little bit. It helped out and now it runs good.

MIke.

Get your valves adjust asap. see if that solves the problem. if not, then try running with your air-box lid off and see if that helps or not. if it helps then you will have to lean your idle mixture sceews, if it makes it worse, you need to richen them. these screews are located under the float bowls, and unfortunatley, the carbs need to be removed to be acessed.

Make sure you air filter is clean, try a new spark plug. Check out your jetting to make sure its correct.

yea man, i just bought and installed a k&n air filter 2 days ago, and i was wondering if the spark plug could be a possible problem.I am going to adjust the valves here soon and i am gonna have a buddy of mine look at the jetting and mixture screws and whatnot. If there are any other ideas about this please tell me, i have to know. Thanks guys.

well, i tried turning up the idle screw but it seems like it idles too high to not cut out.I dont want to ride it like that because something simalar happened to my dirt bike and we had to turn up the idle screw so it would not cut out, but it blew up.I think i am going to have to rejet it.
