yea i lost my last set of keys, how much are ignition switches, and is there any thing i can do to not spend a lot of money?

 

Go to autozone and get a cheap key switch and replace it.

you could hot wire it, i had lost my key for an old big red and all i had to do was peel the two ignition wires and connect them with another wire and just press the start button and its on but you as PolishCowboyPL just go buy a new key switch

 

lol, u guys are pathetic, go to your local yamaha dealer, he can look at your key switch and make u another key. my dealership does it all the time.

 

i lost my only key once ask my local yamaha dealer if they can make me a new one they said no you have to buy a new key switch $60.

luckly i found my key a couple days later

If you're dealer doesn't want to give you a key, call a locksmith to make you a new one!

 

Yeh your locksmith could probly make you a new key

 

Should be a number on the lock case. Take the number to any locksmith and he will cut you a new key by code if he has the blanks. I am supprised at how many people only have one key for their machines. For a couple of dollars you should always have a spare key, saves a lot of trouble.
