Pretty loud whining in high gear when getting off the throttle.Sounds like belt?Just traded 05 500 ho for this 05 700 efi and the 500 did not make this much noise ??? Sounds like backing off throttle in low gear in old pick-up.

 

How many miles are on your 700? It sounds like your belt is not broke in. I put a new belt on my 700 and it had the whining untill it broke in.

 

Thanks for the reply.Brand new, 25 miles. taking it south for a few days to ride and hunt,so we will get some miles on it. Kind of figured it may just be new belt.

 

I have had mine to the dealer twice for the same thing.
I was told to relax and ride. I will say this. I love my 700
but it's the noisest thing that I have ever ridden, all kinds of rattles.
Never the less I still like it...

 

Have any of you heard a bombardiers tranny whine... now thats bad

I just put a new belt on my scrambler and it squeeked like crazy when the clutch first engaged. of course this was before I blew the engine up so I never got it broken in. Belt might be slipping since it's not broken in and when you decel the ebs comes on that's probably why it's squeaking
