I bought a 03 trailblazer 400 not knowing they only made them in 03, and now I cant find any aftermarket parts for it. does anyone know why they were only bilt in 03. and will part form a sport or scrambler 400 fit my trailblazer. thanks

 

You got a great quad there. There are plenty of things made for it. Many parts for a Scrambler, Sport and Trailblazer 250 will fit.

 

Engine parts, exhaust and so forth are the same as the 400 scrambler and will work for you. suspension, drive line components that work on 250 trailblazers, sports and 2x4 400 scramblers will work for you too. 02 was the last year for the 400 engine in the scrambler and I bet they had some extra 400's laying around so they put them in trailblazers to clear em out. Almost everything is the same on the 400 Gen III models. You certianly didn't make a mistake. because their weren't alot of and they only made them one year most manufactures won't have a specific part with trailblazer 400 on it. hope this helps ease your anxiety a little. If you ever need a specific part just cross reference the part number of your oem part with the oem part of one of the other gen 3 models and if they match the after market part will work. remember anything performance related you wanna check the 2002 scrambler 400. for suspension and other chassis stuff check the 2002 2x4 scrammy first and then the 2003 250 trailblazer. click here and after you register you can download parts diagrams in pdf for each model to make cross referencing easier

you can still buy the whole quad parts for it cauze the only different thing on it is the name "trailblazer",it is the same thing as a scrambler
400 from the older years.
