I'm still having some issues with my PWK Im getting too much fuel down low and not enough on top Ive bent the tab around on the floats to no avail. So I decided to order a new needle valve and seat from HPD. My question is when it gets here how do I go about replacing it?
I could iof swor I saw this posted before but could not find it searching.

1. I believe you must tap the hole in old needle seat to 6.0mm x 1.0 pitch
2. Thread in a dent puller / slide hammer that is that size .
3. Remove old seat .
4 . Using an arbor press and GREAT CARE install new seat .
BEFORE BEGINING DOUBLE CHECK THIS PROCEDURE WITH DARREL OLSON . I BELIEVE THIS IS HIS PREFERED METHOD FOR INSTALLING HIS SEATS > PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG .

i did the same thing and it is still wrong. my pwk is a piece of junk when it comes to the needle and seat,i did what rick just said and it still leaks, do to a high fuel level. I tried everything to fix this problem, now i realize that the pwk is just a leaker, that is why it uses so much fuel.I'd still talk to darell at hpd, he might have a better idea.
anyone know where i can send my pwk to get a complete rebuild. it's either that or i need a new one, because i tried everything,so i figure that if i send it to someone they might see something i've overlooked.
i have rebuilt pleny of carbs i my life but this one has me pissed,so i'm done with it. when setting the floats to spec it leaks. if i try to stop it by lowering the float so it shuts the fuel off faster, the quad starves for fuel . i just can't find a happy middle and I'm tierd of it.

Rick thanks for the response.
Matt im having the same experiences with mine, I have rebuilt other carbs for peole and myselfm, but I can;t get this one correct. Its starting to mess up my reputation as well. Hopefully this will be the last thing I have to do.

I've never had any problems with my pwk, I justed you an ez out that would fit the hole, got it tight and pulled the seat out. The new one I just carefully tapped in with a hammer, it's very easy to do.

i even replaced the floats, and it still leaks, i got it close now but if you shake the quad with the fuel valve on it will leak like a mo fo.
