Question regarding 500 TRV

Default Question regarding 500 TRV

Does the new 500 TRV have the new locking front diff like the standard 500?

No. For some dumb reason Arctic Cat didn't put it on the TRV... [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img] Even the TBX has it.

Default Question regarding 500 TRV

Thanks for the response guys, maybe they assume you wouldnt be doing difficult terrain 2-up?
Seems a common complaint is rear storage, IS there away around that?

Default Question regarding 500 TRV

I made up a rear MRP rack that is welded to the handlebar weldment and will also hold a box. See pics. I've sold a few of these but its more of a hobby and I'm not a expert fabricator. I think I have one out in the corner of the garage that needs to be repainted.

Go anywhere you want. Mine has gone everywhere I've ever wanted it to go, and then some. Rock gardens are a blast.

Just don't expect it to get there fast.

Default Question regarding 500 TRV

That long wheelbase makes it less necessary. To be honest, it is a rare moment on my 650 where I use it. I'll be looking at a TRV soon, and it won't bother me that it doesn't have it.
