Honda to Polaris convert!
#1
I went out to a Polaris dealer today and test rode the Trail Boss. I was impressed. The ride was good the comfort level was high. It turned sharp as can be and was stable. The dealer was out in the country with a large place to ride and I was on the Boss for 10-15 minutes. I think the only thing I didn't like was that it doesn't wheelie well for getting over logs and such. I have ridden Honda atvs since 86 but I'm getting the Trail Boss instead of the Recon.

I am on my second Polaris since switching from Honda and I have never been more pleased with a machine in my life. The TB is a great machine. It is much better than the Recon in terms of size and the ride is much better, my Girlfriend who is 5 foot 3 sat on a Recon and with me on it she was on the rack! she called it a little feller and we left and went to the Polaris place and both fit great on the 2000 Xplorer 250 4x4 and we bought it. The Xplorer and the TB are pretty much the same thing size wize. Have fun putting 1000's of miles on the best atv's made.

You will not regret your choice. Once you ride it for a while, you will learn how to run the PVT in order to log-hop better. The engine will get a little more power after break in. Remember, there is a lot of things you can do to Polaris to make it scream. The first is to visit RCR's website at www.rittercycle.com . Rick will tell you how to make that thing really scream. Take care of the chain and grease it often and it will take care of you. Hope you enjoy your Polaris.

Well, I am really sure now. We went riding with some different people tonight and one of them had a T-Boss. We were going thru some tight, twisty, muddy, slimy trails (in other words fun!!). Everyone had to backup and manuever to get thru it, except for the T-Boss. He just steered on thru. When he let me ride it, I was going over bumps that had jarred my teeth the trip before that I could hardly feel when riding the Polaris. It was surprisingly easy to get comfortable with not shifting and just using the single brake. In a matter of minutes I was feeling very confident on it. I can't wait to get mine.
