Sidewinder chain and sprokets ?
#1
Hi folks,
Just curious if anyone is running the Sidewinder chain and sproket combination on there DS ?
I read an article some time back in "ATVAction" I think... and they claimed a gain of like 4 hp to the rear wheels by decreasing the rotating mass.
Do you think this is True ? I mean if I swap out my chain and sprokets will I then gain 4 hp to the tires ?
I am really into anything that make the bike perform better and am wondering if the money is best spent else where ?
Thanks for the imput...

I bought SideWinders BEST front/rear sprockets and chain about 3 years ago,and would NEVER give them 2 cents of my money ever again..Their sprockets wore out quicker than my stock one and when I complained, they said 'oh well' thats the way way it goes sometimes..Sorry.
They offered to sell me another set for a 20 dollar reduction,I told them to keep it and kiss my ****.
Junk products and junk folks that sell for them.

Really, that's interesting because there advertising indicates "The Last sprocket you'll ever buy"
What ever happened to "Truth in Advertising"
Thanks for the info....
It's ok as I blew my wad of discretionary ca$h on the new rear plastic fender anyway.
I was just curious of ATVIllistrated was getting paid for the write up .....? hummm
