Default I need help fast with my raptor

Please help I have a big ride comin up this weekend and i dont know what to do. OK for staters I have a 2002 raptor 660r. I replaced the cdi box and the wiring harness with 2004 units. The bike ran fine for maybe 2 weeks then all the sudden it just quit. So me and my dad checked all the key electric components on my friends raptor to see if everything was working properly and everything checked out fine. But on accident I tried to start while the regulator/rectifier was unplugged and it started up just fine but I cant run it like that so if anyone has any suggestions PLEASE DONT HOLD BACK I'm open to everything at this point. thanks

If you have a buddy with an 02 cdi box and wiring harness, pull his off and see if the quad runs properly when you install it on your quad. If you are in the metro Phoenix area, you can do it with mine. That would be a quick check that either the cdi you have is bad or there is something different between the two years that is causing this anomoly. If that doesnt point you in the right direction, time to break out the manual and electrical tester.
