I just acquired another Yamaha ATV - this one runs but nothing electrical works - no lights, no indicator, no starter. But when I touch the key w/o first hitting the kill switch - I get one hell of a shock that can only be coming from the ignition system. Anybody have a similar experience they'd like to share? I really don't like 14,000 volts passing through my body.

 

i dont think you get any more than 14 volts and at pretty low amperage so it wont kill ya just make you **** your pants when you forget about it. anyways i dont know how to fix it
