Scrambler 500 beat a trailblazer 400!
#1
I was riding with couple of my friends and one of them had a 2005 Scrambler 500 4x4 and the other had a 2003 trailblazer 400 that he drives about 2 times a year and they both dragged and the trailblazer got a lead on the start but the 500 slowly caught up and passed not by much but the 500 was still faster. Never in my lifetime would i have thought i would see a scrammy 500 beat a tblazer 400. My friend on the 500 was really amazed, actually both of them were. I thought the 400 would build an early lead and that would be the end of it.

well i've heard that the stock 05's go about 65..maybe 70..and the 400's are fast..but only if there hopped up..i dont think the 2 stroke has as great of top end as the 4 stroke so it sounds like it was a reasonable race..but man u pipe, jet, and clutch that 400 and it'll really open up

I raced a bunch of 500's when mine was stock and NEVER lost to a 500. Out of the hole was close but I would pull away all the way to the top end (which I think the 400 has a little more of). There could have been other varibables as well. I would bet that he had a dirty air filter. Those things get dirty and it really hurts performance.

My 400 trailblazer is only slightly modified and I took an 04 scrambler with the full hot seat kit, beat him from bottom to top...although they were so close on top-end though.
