Does the yfz have a violent power band like my tecate...i ask this because ive never ridden one and when i see my freind dan riding his around it dosent look like it has a relly harsh powerband..because mine like feels like a kick to to nads

 

They have a real good midrange punch. The difference is that the 4 stroke makes more torque down low. WIth more low end available, it smoothes out that savage midrange and makes it a bit more manageable. Ask him to ride that puppy, and you'll see what I mean. When you grab a healthy thumb full of throttle, these things move right out. Have you dragged him yet?

 

Havent draged him yet but i will be sure to do that...Im going to rebuild the engine this winter but its down for the winter right now any ways..gas prices..i have a blone base gasket and i though while im down here i mine as well rebuiold it because its been 20 years since its been rebuild

 

Has he piped, jetted and done the cam-mod yet? Cam-mod makes it really come alive!

 

stock, but he has the big expencive warranty and while he was riding the crank bearing came out or some shiz noz like that and ruined the engine so he just got a fresh one
