i use to have a nice old moto 4 i think it was, untill someone stole it and now i have a vega helmet which feels like i have 50 pound can on my head. any idea which brand of helmets are the smallest less bulky ones?

I believe it's Arei that makes a carbon fibre helmet. If you want light, that's where it is. Don't ask me how much, I don't know. But I'm sure it's only an arm.

I have an HJC that is under 3 lbs. I think they have updated it and it's a little heavier now. I love it if I'm riding all day. I bought my wife a red brushed chrome looking HJC at MotoX outlet earlier this year for about $160. Best price by far from what I've seen and really cool looking.
Try going to a dealer. I was at one once and their catalog showed the weight of the helmets.
