Default lift kits

A 2" lift from Highlifter/Moose Utilities will put a little more strain on the cv's and bearings. I'd say that the bearings would be more suceptible to damage since the lift will likely cause your tires to toe-in a bit more than your stock setup. I haven't seen any damages caused to anyone's quad simply due to installation of a lift. The extra confidence that the extra g/c brings is likely the culprit in most of the axle breakages and shot bearings that occur after lifting. All in all, I'm very satisfied with my moose lift and haven't had any hint of cv pop or tire wobble.

Here's the link to the most likely lift for your quad on the site where I got my Moose lift: http://www.midwestmoto.com/Merchant2..._Code=MUDHLK03. The lift listed says 00-02, but my Eiger's an '04 and the '03 mounted up without a problem. According to Moose's website http://www.mooseutilities.com/ that part number fits '00-'04 Ranchers, so I'm not sure about your year model. I know the body styling has changed quite a bit since '04, but I honestly don't know about the suspension setup changes, if any. Moose has a technical support email link http://www.mooseutilities.com/tech_guy.jsp - you'd need to check with them on the newer models.

Midwest Moto was the cheapest place I found online for the lift for my Eiger. It took a little searching to find them, but I think they've got the best prices.

If you've got any more questions, just p/m me.

Hope this helps,
Blake
