went for a long ride rode hard came home wheeler was fine. started it the next day it has a metal clanking noise in idle and in drive. the noise is constant with some grinding than back to clanking. motor run great i am assuming it is in the transmission not sure though. any input would be great

 

My Rubicon did the samething engine ran fine / shifted fine so I'm thinking what the heck is wrong with this thing . So I got to looking around after taking some plastic off (which I didn't need to ) and what I found was the bolts had came out and 2 was loose that holds the cover on for the pull start it is located kinda under the air box and you can access by removing the right rear tire and reaching over the frame to get to it . just tighten the bolts or replace the missing ones . At least thats what I hope is all that is wrong with it.
