Blaster Boging out at high power
#1
Well as you might of guessed I have a 2000 Blaster. The problem is that when I accelerate to higher throttle positions the motor speeds up like normal. After a few seconds it begins to sputter and die. If im going fast enough and I let off the throttle it will begin to catch its self after the throttle drops to lower speeds. I have a fmf pipe and scilencer and have jeted it with a 40 size main jet. The top end was rebuilt however I was having the same problem before the rebuild. Anything that you could think of would really help

Float level is too low, im almost postitive. set your float hieght and check back with results.
It could also be a clogged petcock, take the hose off of your carb, turn the gas on, if it just dribbles or flows very little then thats most likely your problem.

I'll see if I can explain it, Remove the carb from the engine. Remove the 4 screws from the bowl, hold the carb upside down so that the floats are facing up. Measuring from the gasket to the top of the float should be 20 -21.5mm. Just bend to ajust. Hope that helps somewhat.
