XC Swingarm for 400EX, should i go longer?

I have heard several people going with a +1 1/4" swing arm on 400EX. Is that the same length as a 250R swing arm? I know this would keep the front end down a little. I just snapped my stock swingarm in two and am ready to purchase another.
Should I go with + 1 1/4"?
