Ramp Size for Z71 Silverado
#1
I have a Short Bed Z71 4X4 Silverado and not sure if the 6' ramps are long enough. I have the Grizz 660 and I am no small guy so want to make sure I get something safe. The dealer sugested 84" ramp, do you guys agree?

I would get the longest ramps the will fit in the box of the truck with tailgate up. That is if the Grizz will fit with the tailgate up.
I use 2" x 12" x 6' with aluminum ends on them. I have loaded a Polaris 700 with them with No prob's at all. But most of the time i use them for my YFZ or trailblazer.

I have 7' ramps for loading into a 2003 Silverado 2500HD crewcab, shortbed, diesel. I can't tell you if this is higher than your truck or not. I wouldn't want to use 6'. In fact, I wish I would haven gotten 8' ramps. Mine bend in the middle so getting them to fit in the truck is no problem. Click the following link and check out:
