I have read many times on here about ppl getting their quads stolen and thought man Im glad it wasnt me. Well, this time it was.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img] Woke up this morning, kissed the wife and told her happy anniversary, and walked out back for a smoke. Immediately counted 2 Raptor 80's but no 660. I about $hit.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] While I was sleeping someone broke into my backyard and took my locked up baby (Kryptonite cable through back rims). Now the worlds dumbest criminals part. My brother and son were driving over to brothers house and happened to drive next to some apartments. Looked between the building and the wall and there was a quad. Checked it out and sure enough it was MINE! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img] Called the cops and they were there immediately. Asked someone standing outside the apartments who it belonged to and an old guy said it was his nephews and called him out. The "nephew" said someone had given it to him. WRONG ANSWER!!! Long story short, they cuffed him n stuffed him right in front of me. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] Man that was the best feeling in the world. Cant wait for court! wanna see how he explains the hotwired ignition. lol oh and on a side note. The nephew was limping when he came down the stairs. It seems he couldnt handle the power and wrecked the quad last night and hurt himself. LMAO Chalk one up for the good guys![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

Thanks guys. Need a little good news once in a while. I still cant believe it. Feels like the first day I got the Raptor.

 

How did they disable this?

 

only thing we could figure out is they carried and drug it out cause there were drag marks every once in a while to the street. Then nothing. Had a POS lock on it so had to have cut the lock cause the cable wasnt damaged. Got that back too with marks where they attmepted to cut it. Only bad thing is Im missing a headlight, the wires are cut at the key, flag broke (from where he rolled it) and a few new dings in the skid plate. So Far. Havent looked it over real well yet.

 

Good news Raptor8tor. You should kick his @ss. I thought some one was trying to take my 660 a few months ago because I heard my car alarm go off, it’s real sensitive. I jumped out of bed starkers and ran out to the shed, fully pumped on adrenaline ready to frigin bash the livin chit out of anyone that is gonna flog stuff of me to find a possum had fallen on my car roof. Needless to say the wife was pissin herself laughing at me trying to knock the possum off my car roof but naked.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]

 

LMAO now thats funny! Im sure I will see him around. He is 19 yrs old and lives just a few blocks from me. Like I said, he wasnt too bright. Think I have seen his truck at the dunes also. Anyway, I will see him again, but hopefully after I couple years in prison for grand theft!

Glad you got your Rappy back, man do I hate theives. I had my 7 day old 2005 F250 stolen, found it 30 hrs later with $20,000 damage, they're still doing the estimate on it in the shop, gonna take a couple months to get it back.
