A while back me and a couple of friends were riding around a field (kawasaki 125, yamaha 250, me on my Blaster and another guy on a polaris 400-2x4 and could switch to 4x4, I think, fully automatic)

Well he wanted to race me seeing as how me and him were the only ones on quads. I thought to myself, this guy is gonna rip me up! 400cc compared to 200cc. He was about 15 years old and me 21, we lined up on the field running a distance of about 200 yards.

I told him as soon as you see my head nod GO! so I nodded waited about a second and we were off, I wrapped threw 1st, 2nd, 3rd ahead of him then as soon as I went into 4th BAM! he flew by me really damn fast, hehe.

He must have beat me by about 7 or more lengths but overall it was fun as hell.

later on we were running the outer edge of the field doing laps. All of us were riding. At one point we all lined up to do 5 laps around it. (this was very tiring, wore me out, heh

Anyways we took off...I was in last place by the time we hit the first corner but took Mat going into and out of the corner shortly behind mickey.
On the straight mickey took off matt way in the lead, me in 3rd and Mat right behind me, took the next turn in full throttle 4th gear scarying the crap outa myself, caught up with mickey, Mat fell behind and other matt way ahead. By the time we were done matt on the 250 was already rested, hehe, me and mickey came in pretty close and Mat on the polaris came in about 5 seconds behind me.

The only thing that helped me beat him on an oval track was cornering, overall it was a blast and I hope we can do it again some time.
