400ex>xr650

I herd that a xr 650 engine will come pretty close to mouting right up in a 400ex frame. Is this true? If it is what would have to been done to make it fit right and where can i get a 650 engine for a good price?

it will go but the xr is geared wrong for a quad. have to weld some brackets and stuff. need a machine shop to make it work .
