Default foreman fourtrax 500 4x4 vs bf 750 4x4

I'm torn between the two and can't decide and have a few questions. What are the top speeds for both of them. how much more gas will the brute force use doing equal tasks. Which one has a better 4 wheel drice system. I can get an 05 brute force for 6300 and an 05 honda manual for 5700 are these good prices. thanks a lot.

Two totally different machines. Great price for the brute. The Brute has a front diff lock, where the honda only has 3 wheel drive (limited slip). As for speed, the brute will do around 70mph and the honda around 50mph. Honda has no problems known, just old technology with the Straight rear axle, but definetely dependable. The brute has an awesome v-twin engine that's almost unstoppable, as well it has independent suspension. They did have problems with the tire rods at first, not sure if they have that resolved. Between the 2 and given the prices I would have to say you'd almost be an idiot to not get the brute. Let us know what you decide. Oh, can't tell you about gas mileage.

First of all , what are your intended uses for a quad . What type of terrain are you going to be using it on , mainly work or play , is this your first machine , etc . . These are all things to consider when picking out what will suit your needs the best .

I intend on driving it beside roads, in woods, trails if I can find them basically any terrain I can find I will want to go on especially mud. I will mainly use this for play but I do live on a farm so that too. Yes this is my first atv and I don't think I can test drive either.

Although with the price difference of $600 that you stated , the Brute Force would be the better deal . Don't overlook the Prairie 700 though , it is a very capable machine and should cost roughly the same as the Honda , but be twice the machine .
