How steep of a hill was it? If it was steep and you sat on the hill for a while then it could just be flooded out and you can just crank it over for about 30-45 seconds and see if it will crank.

Hey that is one way to look at it and you also learned how to use one of the many saftey features on your new toy: the kill switch.

Default recon trouble

I was Pulled out of the woods, I cussed dealer that sold me the quad, I cussed all hondas, I loaded on trailer to take to shop cause it left me stranded miles into a trail ride. I swore Id never own another non running, non starting honda again in my life. And in fact told the person that told me to check the kill switch "DO YOU THINK IM STUPID"

only to discover it was the kill switch I had bumped when going over a log!. Yep I got a shirt from my riding group that had KILL SWITch ON THE BACK.

yeah, dude, i've done that a couple times too. It's really easy to bump it if you aren't paying attention and doing some really bumpy riding stuff.

I've even had a small tree branch swing over and shut the KEY off on my snowmobile. Took me a half an hour of looking to find out what it was.
