Default REAR END ISSUES ON A 300 EX

I have a 99 300 EX.
The problem is, that the barren carier broke, so im having to replace the whole thing. I cant get the axle off! erggg...

If you look at the nuts on the left weel axle. You will see a main nut, and and a back up nut. I got the back up bolt loose by pulling the wrench to me away from the handle bars, but the main bolt I cannot get loos. Im pushing towards the handle bars. Im using big pipe wrenches, but Im scared that the nut will get chewed up.

I tried to shock it, and spray liquid wrench. Im not sure what to do. Any input would be nice. ! thanks!

Both nuts are the same direction treads.

So I need to turn it clockwise, towards the handle bars to take it off. Im going to try and hit it up tommorow, and use a cheetah bar.

I am not sure, its been awhile, since I've done it. I do know that which ever way, the skinny nut went, the fat one goes the same way.

WHAT A JOB!
I got it off, and had to re-do it like 5 times, before I got it right! Works great!

Thanks for the help.

BTW, I had to pull away from the handle bars, then take the clip off, and then go clockwise to back the nut off!
