DS rough running ?

DS rough running ?
DS is running rough around 2000 to 3000 rpm. Sounds like it is coughing through the carb. It runs strong above 3000 rpms. could this be a jetting issue or a cdi issue. Thanks for any help.

You have to adjust you jetting when you run the Big Gun CDI.
If you have a jet kit, read the instructions. If they say the needle is to be set in the 2nd groove, you should raise the needle one more. 3rd down from top.
Pull out your needle and see where it is. Then raise it one more.
