Default RancherAT no power to the wheels

I have a new 05 RancherAT, has been in the shop 2x now and headed back. Wanted to ping the experts here if they have any ideas, as it's obvious my shop doesn't. Engine runs great. When I go up any slope the power drops quickly, engine revs up. Point in case, loading into my truck it takes my buddy to push it up while i have it rev'd full. In fact you can grab my rear rack and hold the bike back while the driver guns it. Paid the crazy price to have the 20 hour service done, so the values are set correct, also I have upgraded the clutch springs and no obvious impact. something else must be wrong. Doesn't matter if it is in 2wd or 4wd.

any thoughts?

TIA

Sounds like your clutch is slipping.

Well it looks like it is normal, the dealer put my tires on a new one and it struggled up the ramps, obviously I sunk money in the wrong machine for what I am doing. So i dumped the honda at a loss and bought another Kawasaki Brute Force 650, i'll never buy a honda again.

good luck out there!

I buy Honda because they always run, and do what you need them to do, which has included towing fancier, more feature laden machines back to the pits or to the trucks. That being said.............................................. ....................
The hondas to stay away from are the AT's, Rubicons, and Rincons..........All Hydro tranny's. I have no clue as to why honda tries to push these Hydro's because the do not hold up to the use of the machines. Honda stands for RELIBILITY..........These machines do not fit in the lineup at all.

Wake up Honda!

Here is my old 400ex towing a buddy's Raptor back in after a break down. Look closely and you will see the tow strap in place.

Poor Raptor!

wrong -

the clutch problem he's having isn't with the hydro

that's what he gets for putting tires like that on a light duty trail quad
