i was reading about someone talking about a fast recon they saw... then mensioned that the rev limiter had been takin off so heres my question...

1.where is the rev limiter
2. how can i take it off

im thinking that i wont be able to take it off, seems like youd need a profesinal to do it and the recon is already able to rev pretty high so it doesnt seem likes the rev limiter is limiting that much....

some help would be nice.

the only way to adjust (not take off) the rev limiter is with a cdi box. the cdi controls rev limit, spark advance and retard. you can get a fully adjustable cdi, but it will still have a rev limiter.
