freeplay on carb needle

Default freeplay on carb needle

removed needle from slide in carb after i but it back together it has a little play up and down 1/6 of an inch is it normal or it has to be tight

Default freeplay on carb needle

If needle assembly is in order, the grey plunger with small spring
holds everything in place. There should be movement up and down,
you should feel light pressure and the needle should return upon release.
If needle is in the 4th or 5th groove from top of needle, there is only a small movement.

THANKS oldman. do have preasure on needle i think its ok THNKS OLDMAN my bike was junk when ibout it. after i did all of your carb mods its the fastest ds . in ALLIANCE NE. just did the 1/6 of an inch holes on the carb slide i got two holes 1/8 and two 1/ 6 6. i.got 155 main. moose racing air filter. dg muffler . 4200ft elevatio . runs fast but what more got a quadzilla i got to kill
