Anyone in Northern CA do intake porting???
#1
Title speak for me. I am looking for someone relatively close that does intake porting. I don't like sending parts out and having my bike down for too long. I try and take my kids for rides each weekend, and don't want them to miss out. So please, let me know. Thanks everyone.

I wish I could give you a name...I can't seem to remember...I'll look in my card file at home tonight
There is the "guy by the airport" but I've heard as much bad as I have good about his work...and to date I've never been highly impressed with any of his machines...try calling Jody over at Oroville Cycles...he will have a good suggestion for you
Where do you like to ride?

I take the kids on a put around at Black Butte. My riding all happens on the Oregon Dunes.
If you have heard as much bad as good, my luck would land me in the bad section so not worth the risk. I was hoping someone had a good connection. Oroville cycles, is that the Bomb dealer there?

West Coast ATV is affiliated with HPR, they distribute the 44HV for the YFZ. I bet you could find out some info from them. They are in Elk Grove. (916)714-7223 I think a guy named Scott is the contact. Check hpresearch.net for the info.

I know what you mean....
Due to a shipping problem I was down for like a month and 1/2. I did not count the days.
I should have just bought a stocker off e-bay sent it out to get ported then swap it out when I had the time and the new parts were ready.
Take a look at e-bay theres a guy there unloading an entire bike.
I have even seen guys sell ported intakes so the work is already done.
It may cost you a bit more (10.00) but you will still have the functionality of your bike.
HPR did a great job with mine.... vary happy with there work.
