PM Donal, He has the same problem. I cant remember exactly but I think it has somthin to do with the oil pump. He was having the same problem and had to replace one of them (I think theres 2) If you cant reach him call kelly he figured it out for Don.

This happened to me once before. Talked to kelly bout it. When I put in a new clutch I checked the pumps TOOK BOTH APART LOOKED FINE!? I thought I just over filled the tank. It stopped when the oil level got to the bottom of the dip stick. Could the pump be freezing up intermittinly(spelling)? Checked the filter, found a fair amount of metal shavings looked like copper AND silver in color?? not good!

Do these quads have PCV valves? Milky white oil, sounds like your getting water (possibly cooling system) or high air pressure, maybe blowby.
PCV stands for positive crankcase ventilation. I know mine has one. If these go bad, they'll build up pressure in the crankcase. Are you burning any oil?

Water pump seal probably went on ya. Was it milky on the dipstick or when you drained the oil you saw it in it. When I would run methanol I would get a little milky oil or condensation on the dipstick but you could not see it when you drained the oil. If you have enough to see it in the oil then you are looking at a pump seal or worse, gasket leaking.
