Qs1 Exhaust on kodiak

Qs1 Exhaust on kodiak
I installed a QS1 on my 2004 450 kodiak. it seems to run great and even a little more pick up. I noticed that the tail pipe seems to be black. do I need to ajust the air flow or gas
