Default differences in grizzly years

What are the upgrades or things that are different between the years for the grizzly?

Thanks

I think i'm gonna trade my 400EX in for a grizz.

The 02s had a recall for a heat fix. They ran too hot so Yamaha made a kit with some heat shields and new side panels. The years after 02 had them standard. If getting an 02 either make sure it has or get a heat kit. The 02s also have no overide button which I think is a plus (since it does not limit you and then require a button be pressed). That is all I know.

the 2002 Grizzlies do limit you. They just don't give you the option of overriding. 22mph locked and a rev limiter in reverse. Thats why a lot of people figured out ways to make their own override buttons.
