I just got the low down for you guys I have a 06 450 and I have a dyno so lets start stock it pulled 40hp not bad ,air filter mod (esr) 41.9,and with the hrc kit it pulled 45.1 on the high side and 44.9 on the low side of 3 pulls So maybe with a real pipe it might pull 48-49 not to bad for a honda but it does have a better curve than a YFZ

boat, thanks for the info. It is refreshing to see data.

How much did you have to adjust the jetting from HRC with the ESR air box eliminator?

Thanks in advance.

Can you post the sheet.

Ya, what jetting did you end up at with you air filter mod and HRC. Did you seem to get a good air/fuel reading at the end?

Thinking about this bike with electric start of course. What is Honda charging for the HRC kit?

I payed 3 bones + tax And I also ended up with the hrc jetting in the end it worked realy good all around Im also at 4500 elevation So I used the 162 main (we went all the way up to a 180 main and no more power just a shorter curve) and the hrc needle and a 50 pilot jet and the hrc bypass jet and it starts great cold and it has no flat spots at all

I put the ESR on before the HRC kit I guess I should have waited but it like being a kid in a candy store

boat, you set this up exactly like I intended to set our new 06. So at least for me your post was the one I was looking for. In your impression do these mods you've just completed have enhanced outstanding way the 06 runs stock?

My 17yo has an 04 with the ESR/HRC/Pulse Charger exhaust and pulls low 44 on the Kenz Cycle Tech dyno. The trick is that the PC pipe only added a little over 1 hp. On the positive side the pipe is quiet and flows more than enough to to support future mods.
